Rapid Prototyping

Rapid Prototyping includes a number of techniques which makes it able to convert a product drawing into a tangible product. Rapid Prototyping also includes 3D printing. With 3D printing a digital product design (STL-file) will be converted into a three-dimensional product.

The prototype of the product is than constructed layer by layer. When a product changes is made, Rapid Prototyping makes it easy to produce the product and then test it. This makes it able to see if the change matches the intention. In addition, it is always nice when you are able to hold your designed product instead of talking about a drawing.

The possibilities of 3D printing

The biggest product we can currently print is 21x29,7x20cm and can be delivered in two materials PLA and ABS.

The material polylactic acid (PLA) is biodegradable. The material is composed out of renewable sources by fermenting potato peel. This means that the material is not an harm for the environment. So you do not have to worry if we need to print multiple products, when for example you want to test a product change. We will make sure that you are satisfied about the end product.
